Event Description

Soldier's Field Rd. Boston University Bridge to River St. Bridge.

The Charles River Cleanup is one of the largest Earth Day Cleanups in the country! Join the Suffolk University Sustainability Committee and the Environmental Club in protecting and preserving the river. Suffolk volunteers will met at 9:15am in the Sawyer Lobby, 8 Ashburton Place to walk/MBTA over to our assigned spot. Children can participate as well if they are accompanied by an adult and the youth waiver is signed. All participants are encouraged to bring their own work gloves if you have them. Please wear long pants and socks. Check for ticks after returning home if you have been in wooded areas or an area with high grass.

Type of Work: Litter Removal

What To Bring:

  • Comfortable outdoor clothing
  • Work boots or study shoes (no sandals, please!)
  • Water (in a reusable bottle, if possible)
  • A snack or lunch (depending on the timing and duration of your event)
  • The Conservancy will provide gloves and any necessary tools
