New to or terrified of networking? Skills a bit rusty?
Over 30 Accounting & Finance companies are coming to campus to meet you - Suffolk's best and brightest accounting and finance students. Attend this workshop to help prepare you for the Accounting & Finance Opportunities Fair: Meet the Firms.
Here from the Career Center and a Guest Recruiter on topics like:
- The dos and don'ts of networking (how to dress, what to bring with you, how to act, & what you can expect)
- How to conduct your research and prepare for having conversations.
- How to approach someone at a table and what kinds of questions to ask.
- How to politely break into or exit a conversation.
- We will also act out some possible scripts of what sorts of questions you can expect from firm reps and how to best answer them!
