Biography
Hasan Arslan serves as Chief AI Officer of the Sawyer Business School and Assistant Chair of the Information Systems and Operations Management Department at Suffolk University. In these leadership roles, he helps guide the school’s strategy for integrating artificial intelligence into academics, research, and community engagement, while continuing to oversee the MS in Business Analytics program and support innovative curriculum development.
A passionate educator and researcher, Hasan specializes in AI-powered business solutions, prescriptive and predictive analytics, dynamic pricing and revenue management, and operations management. He is known for breaking down complex concepts into approachable lessons that emphasize fundamentals, hands-on practice, and real-world applications. In his courses, students gain extensive experience with Python, AI platforms, and business case studies to develop both technical expertise and decision-making skills.
Hasan has been a driving force behind Suffolk’s SAGE Framework, which balances AI literacy, social intelligence, cognitive elevation, and ethical leadership. His leadership in this area helped Suffolk earn the Eduventures Innovation Award and recognition in the forthcoming AACSB Insights publication. He has also spearheaded initiatives such as EduMaestro, an AI-powered learning platform; AIChemy, a student competition in AI prompt engineering; and SkillGenome, a framework for mapping industry skill gaps to academic curricula.
Through these efforts, Hasan advances Suffolk’s role in shaping the future of analytics and AI education, with a vision rooted in empowerment, innovation, and social responsibility.
