About Dr. Sebahattin Demirkan

Seb was previously assistant professor at SUNY Binghamton University from August 2008 to August 2010. He also thought at Bentley University from Aug 2000 to July 2011 , and at Northeastern University between August 2007 and August 2008. He received his master and doctorate degrees in accounting from the University of Texas-Dallas. He did his undergraduate work at Bogazici University in Istanbul. Demirkan’s research interest is empirical and analytical capital market and strategic management areas. He published his works in several prestigious academic journals such as Journal of Management, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, Accounting Research Journal, Review of Business and Economics, Corporate Finance Review, Journal of Financial Transformation, Global Economics and Management Review, and Journal of Private Equity.He teaches managerial, cost and financial accounting classes .
