Professor Vieira is a new faculty member and Visiting Assistant Professor of Academic Support. Prof. Vieira is a proud Suffolk Law graduate who returned as a staff member in 2020. Prior to her current role, she served as a Clinical Fellow and the Director of Investigations & Outreach for Suffolk’s Center for Housing Justice & Policy [CHJP]. Her work primarily focused on fair housing education, community outreach, and investigations through discrimination testing. Prior to her role at CHJP, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County.

Prof. Vieira graduated from Tufts University in 2015 with a BA in Political Science, concentrating in American Government. After graduation, she completed a year of service with AmeriCorps through the College Advising Corps. Prof. Vieira worked as a college counselor serving diverse, low income, and first-gen students at her hometown high school. Prof. Vieira earned her JD in 2019 at Suffolk University Law School. At Suffolk, Prof. Vieira was Co-President of the Women of Color Law Student Association [WOCLSA], a Marshall-Brennan Fellow, blog editor of the Journal of High Technology, and a student attorney in the Health Law Clinic. Prof. Vieira was also selected as a Rappaport Fellow, which included an internship with the MA Attorney General Office’s Civil Rights Division.
