Biography

Professor Laura Possessky joins Suffolk Law's Clinical Programs as Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor of Law to direct a remote section of our Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic (IPEC), working collaboratively with Director of our in-person IPEC Clinic, Darrell Mottley. Professor Possessky brings over thirty years of experience at the intersection of technology and content development, most recently as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. With a long history of service to the American Bar Association and the D.C. Bar, she recently served as a Vice Chair of the ABA Task Force on Law and Artificial Intelligence and one of the D.C. Bar's Delegates to the ABA House of Delegates. Professor Possessky is a Board Chair and founding board member of D.C. Refers and has been involved with Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts for over twenty-five years.
