About Wallace Marosek

Educated and traveled extensively in Europe, including lengthy painting itineraries focusing on the effects of fugitive light and atmospheric changes on European landscapes and architecture. Professional experiences include internships at Esquire Magazine and Milton Glazer Design Studio, both located in NYC. I began my professional design career with positions as Senior Designer in the Office of Communications and Publications at Princeton University, Senior Designer in the Office of University Publications at Harvard University, Senior Designer at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Following these positions, based on the advice of Paul Rand and Bradbury Thompson, I pursued teaching positions at the University level. I began my teaching career at Northeastern University and at Suffolk University, followed by my current full time, tenured position as an Associate Professor at Suffolk University which included my faculty-led Study Abroad Program, 'The Italian Journal' which has run successfully since 2004. Throughout my career, I have also supported a comprehensive list of free lance clients.
