About Laurie Pant
Prof. Pant taught in the area of corporate financial reporting and control. Her research was in areas of ethical behavior, cognitive style and cultural differences and the impacts on financial reporting. Prof. Pant’s professional service included serving as the Editor and Associate Editor of Issues in Accounting Education. She also served as an editorial review board member of Behavioral Research in Accounting. Her service to the university included chair of the Accounting department, director of graduate programs in Accounting, chair of the Promotion, Tenure and Review Committee and membership on the Promotion, Tenure and Review Committee and the Faculty Life and Development Committee. Her external service has been with the Parkinson’s disease associations.
