About Mary-Joan Potvin
MJ Potvin is an instructor in Accounting and has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses. A Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 1989, she has nearly 30 years of experience in various auditing and accounting roles. Positions she has held include: Audit Manager (PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP), Director of Financial Reporting, Controller, Senior Corporate Auditor, Operations Consultant, and Director of Project Management.
MJ Potvin has also served as a consultant to companies on accounting, financial reporting, and video education matters. She has taught a number of professional courses including the Lambers CPA Review, staff training classes for Coopers & Lybrand, LLP, and customer training on the use of XBR exception-based query software.
