In addition, the program covers management theory in practice as it relates to human resources and operations, as well as the challenge of balancing the interests of patients, providers, staff, the business organization, and the community.

This certificate program is designed to be completed part-time in two semesters, either on campus or online. You can continue to build on your healthcare administration knowledge after earning the Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management & Leadership by stacking it with our Graduate Certificates in Healthcare Analytics or Healthcare Quality & Patient Safety. If you apply to the Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree program or another graduate business degree program, you may be able to apply the courses in this certificate program to reduce the time it will take to complete your master’s degree.
