Internship Placement Process
Individual Placement Meetings
A few months before the program, you’ll have an individual placement meeting with a member of the internship team to discuss your priorities and placement preferences.
You’ll receive a provisional placement based on your skills, interests, and professional goals, as well as sponsor’s internship needs and work cycles. A placement description and sponsor website will be sent to you via email. Most students will find out about their provisional placement before they leave for the program, but some may find out upon arrival in Europe.
Once you arrive in Europe, you’ll have an on-site interview with the internship sponsor. Your placement is always contingent upon the success of the on-site interview.
Review & Evaluation
Your internship experience will be monitored through a mid-term review and a final evaluation from your internship sponsor, which will be submitted to the university upon your completion of the program.
