Biography
Carwina is a first-generation U.S. college and law school graduate. She has taught experiential learning courses like externships and in-house clinics for over 20 years in public and private schools and in metropolitan and small cities. Carwina also has worked in legal services and clerked for a federal circuit court judge. Her research interests include law school pedagogy and program design, professional identity formation based on values and strengths alignment, diversity/equity/inclusion/belonging, and leadership development. Carwina enjoys baking, reading speculative fiction and cozy mysteries, eating, and traveling. She lives in Indiana with her husband, two sons, mother, and two cats.
