Professional Biography

Professor Perham comes to Suffolk University with years of experience in marketing, management communications and public relations. Perham served as Director of Marketing for NBC Sports Boston (then CSN New England) from 2010 to 2017. He was instrumental in developing and implementing marketing programs for the network’s core entertainment products, including the Boston Celtics (NBA), New England Revolution (MLS) and pre/post/shoulder programming. He had oversight of a $1 million marketing budget; managed agency work; oversaw marketing content on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat; and was responsible for the development and execution of network on-air, on-line and off-air promotions.

His integrated marketing communication expertise includes managing communication activities for NECN (New England Cable News), the Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams), Krispy Kreme, Sprint PCS, and other consumer and business-to-business accounts. Perham is active as a consultant. His client work has included Athletic Brewing Company, the New England Free Jacks (Major League Rugby), INSA, Sierra Nevada Brewing, Back Bay Roasters, Epicenter Experience, and FitMoney.
