Mathematics

Studying numbers + learning in downtown Boston = the perfectly balanced equation

A brilliant mind will only get you so far. That's why Suffolk University mathematics students learn how to work with data—and people. Collaborating closely with our expert faculty, you'll develop the hands-on skills you need to prepare for success in your internships and your career.

Uniquely, our upper-level classes are taught during the late afternoon or evening. This allows you to work during the day to gain actual experience in the field. Boston is packed with employers who value numbers, not to mention the tech giants based just across the Charles River in Cambridge. You will also have opportunities to tutor your fellow Suffolk students.

CAS STEAM Reception

The STEAM Reception is an annual event held in the spring semester where students from the STEAM disciplines showcase their work at a poster session.
