Statement of Methodology
This nationwide Suffolk University/USA Today survey was conducted through live interviews of Trump voters identified from previous 2020 SU/USAT national and state polls. The survey of 1,000 Trump voters was conducted immediately after the Senate impeachment trial concluded, from February 15 to February 20, 2021. Demographics of Trump voters correlated with demographic proportions of Trump voters from previous national surveys using cell phones and landlines. Respondents in the households were selected by identifying and confirming voter information from previous surveys. Surveys were administered in English and Spanish. The margin of sampling error for results based on the total sample is +/-3.1 percentage points. Error margins increase for smaller subgroups in the cross-tabulation document above. All surveys may be subject to other sources of error, including but not limited to coverage error and measurement error.
