Graduate Certificate in Business Analysis & Reporting
The Graduate Certificate in Business Analysis & Reporting is for students interested in assurance or advisory services, financial statement analysis and reporting, technical accounting, and financial and operations management. With a data analytics focus, courses will cover topics like financial risk management and financial planning techniques. Students will also learn about more advanced technical accounting and reporting topics, such as assessment of revenue recognition and leases, business combinations, derivatives, and hedge accounting, as well as employee benefit plan financial statements.
Courses are taught by leading faculty members at the Sawyer Business School, which is ranked among the best in the world. This certificate program is designed to be completed part-time in two semesters on campus. You can continue to build on your accounting knowledge by stacking the Graduate Certificate in Business Analysis & Reporting with our Graduate Certificate in Information Systems and Controls, Tax Compliance and Planning, Data Management, Data Analytics, or Financial Technology (FinTech). If you apply to the MS in Accounting degree program or another graduate business degree program, you may be able to apply the courses in this certificate program to reduce the time it will take to complete your master’s degree.
