Devote 6-8 weeks full-time bar prep study
This period requires advance planning and preparation in terms of employment situations, vacation time, family support, and financial matters. Time management issues must be addressed.
If, during or just before beginning bar study, a student suffers a traumatic live event, such as an illness, a death in the family, or a divorce, Suffolk strongly recommends that the student defer taking the bar exam. The simultaneous demands of studying for the bar exam and addressing the personal crisis puts a student at a much higher risk of failing the exam.
