Welcome to Suffolk Law’s JD/LLM in Legal Innovation & Technology program! This dual degree offers a unique opportunity for students to earn both their traditional JD and an advanced LLM in one integrated path. As legal services continue to evolve through technology, automation, and new delivery models, the profession increasingly values lawyers who can pair foundational legal knowledge with modern tools and innovative strategies.

This dual degree program allows students to go beyond the typical JD experience, and beyond a JD Concentration. By weaving advanced coursework in legal tech, business innovation, and process improvement into your legal education, you’ll graduate with a distinctive, practice-ready skill set. The curriculum builds on Suffolk’s national leadership in legal innovation and enables motivated JD students to dive deeper—earning two degrees in a streamlined timeframe, with flexibility to pursue real-world, career-focused projects through the LLM in LIT Capstone.
