What You Can Study at Suffolk Law

Juris Doctor (JD)

Complete your JD in three years of full-time study, or four years part-time in the evening, at one of the nation's top law schools for practice-oriented legal education.

Accelerated JD

Earn your JD with two years of full-time study—or three years part-time in the evening—without sacrificing Suffolk Law’s approach to hands-on learning that prepares you for real-world legal practice. 

Hybrid Online JD

Earn your JD with a mix of in-person and online classes in the new Hybrid Online JD Program. Take your first 30 credit hours in-person at Suffolk Law in Boston then take a mix of in-person or online classes for the remainder of your JD. Available for full- or part-time evening students who achieve a 3.0 during their first year of law school.

Master of Laws (LLM)

An LLM degree gives you the opportunity to acquire practical, specialized, legal knowledge that will make you more competitive in a tough job market.

Master of Science in Law: Life Sciences (MSLL) 

An MSLL degree gives you the knowledge and skills you need to excel in the life sciences sector. The MSLL is designed for someone who has a background in law, business, or science. Also available as a dual JD/MSLL degree in 3.5 years.

Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD)

The Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) degree is a post-LL.M. degree that is awarded upon the completion of an in-depth, publication-quality, dissertation which makes an original and creative contribution to the legal literature.

Three Years, Two Degrees

Be more competitive by earning a second degree in the same amount of time as your law degree. Join our accelerated programs to earn a dual JD/MBA or dual JD/LLM in Taxation.
