Suffolk University has three residence halls open to visiting students with summer internships, and two residence halls open to conference guests.

All residence halls are air-conditioned, and offer free on-site laundry facilities. All University housing is alcohol-free and smoke-free, and is staffed 24 hours a day by front desk security personnel.

Residence Halls

10 West Street – Internship Housing

Opened in January 2008, this residence hall houses 269 residents in apartments and suites. The building sits in Boston’s bustling Downtown Crossing neighborhood, amid marquee shopping destinations and historic theatres, with Chinatown’s eateries a short walk away. Nearby MBTA stations stand ready to connect you to the rest of the city. 10 West Street features free on-site laundry facilities.

Nathan R. Miller Hall – Conference Guest Housing

Opened August 2003, the residence hall houses a total of 345 individuals on floors of either 19 or 23 residents. This high-rise building is mere steps from the Massachusetts State House, Boston Common, and other historic and cultural attractions. Lounge spaces on its upper floors offer an ideal view of the sunset over the city skyline. Miller Hall features free on-site laundry facilities.

The Modern Theatre Residence Hall – Internship Housing

When you stay at the Modern Theatre residences, you will be staying in one of the crown jewels of Boston’s historic Theatre District. The Modern opened in 1914 as the first venue specifically designed to show motion pictures in Boston. In 2010, Suffolk completed a full renovation of the valuable landmark, which included residence hall space for 197 students. Here, you will be at the center of Downtown Crossing’s energetic street life and shopping centers. The Modern Theatre Residence Hall features free on-site laundry facilities.

One Court Street - Internship and Conference Guest Housing

Suffolk’s newest residence hall , completed in 1893, is a Romanesque tower 14 stories tall. The building has free on-site laundry facilities, game rooms, and study lounges. Lounge spaces on the upper floors of the residence hall offer unbeatable city views. It offers double, triple, and quad suites in the building. Each living space has its own bathroom. Residents are responsible for maintaining the bathroom, including providing supplies and cleaning the facility. Our One Court Residence Hall now features a Sal's Pizza @ Suffolk location available to all guests and located on the first floor.

Dining, Catering, Classroom and Function Space Rental

  • In addition to housing, Suffolk provides classroom and function spaces to our visiting guests as well as dining and catering options.
  • We offer classrooms ranging from standard 25 person rooms to 150 person auditorium style lecture halls.
  • For function spaces, we offer several rooms ranging in capacity from 45-200 in the form of banquet rooms and lounges.
  • For dining and catering, we offer breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner in addition to any and all catering needs you might have ranging from light snacks and beverages during your meetings, to catered formal dinners in our function spaces.
