Elizabeth Bolles Watson
Elizabeth brings a diverse background in law, education, and public service to the Moakley Law Library. Before joining Suffolk, she taught History and Political Science to high school students, an experience grounded in her deep commitment to civic engagement. Prior to teaching, she worked as a librarian at the Harris County Law Library in Houston, Texas. There, she provided research assistance to pro se litigants, attorneys, and court staff, while also developing and teaching legal technology classes. Elizabeth began her career on K Street working on advocacy efforts to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell, which sparked her broader interest in law. After earning her J.D., Elizabeth became licensed to practice in both Louisiana and Massachusetts. She subsequently practiced law in New Orleans and held an Intellectual Property and Art Law Fellowship under Professor Townsend Gard at Tulane Law. Elizabeth is thrilled to bring this combination of legal knowledge, teaching experience, and public service commitment back to her native Bay State.
